Nothing feels as good as a little head rub/scratch. They even make small hand held devices to do this on yourself. When I get a migraine, my first thing I do is a little acupressure on my head. Even the inexperienced can incorporate some acupressure points that add to the experience of doing it to yourself or to another person. Here's a diagram of the head and the points. Always speak openly with your person about depth of pressure so it's enjoyable for them.
