![]() I've heard about krill oil but TBH, I had no idea what is was. Lately I've been very into Dr. Rhonda Patrick and she spoke about the benefits of krill oil for CHL reduction and for me, more importantly: joint pain. You don't have to be old to have joint pain. The joke around our house is "pre-gaming" nowadays means dosing up on the ibuprofen before an intense work out or competition. Well, ibuprophen is pretty toxic stuff. So I've been researching different ways to help with the joint pain. Enter krill oil. If the stats are true, this may be a game changer for joint pain. Americans are extremely deficient in omega 3's. Not good. Another option is Turmeric. Large qualities of Turmeric have been proven to be more effective than Tylenol or Ibuprophen! So we do that. And I've just ordered some krill oil. Though I am not vegan, I don't particularly like eating animals. But I am going to give this a try and see if it helps. Creating space in the joint. Lately I have a new thing I do for my left knee pain. I put a 10 lb. ankle weight on it and let it dangle from the bed. Pulling the lower leg and forcing some much needed space into my knee. The space should allow for more synovial fluid to reach inside there delivering much needed cleansing and nutrients. Not sure how I will replace this while traveling, but I'll put my thinking cap on and figure something out.
