Did all those old yogis from way back, sitting crosslegged with their eyes closed, chanting on a mala know more than we do now about meditation and it's benefits to our overall health? Uhm, probably. It's a tad sad that we are just now studying and unveiling the benefits of meditiation. Just take a few miutes to read over this Harvard study, and I'm sure you will be more willing to give this ancient practice a try.
