A very important muscle in chaturanga dandasana is the serratus. As I prep for some anatomy classes, I found a video (w/o audio) on youtube. It's very helpful to understand the shoulder and specifically the serratus.
This muscle is also called "the boxer's muscle". I don't watch boxing, but I do appreciate a nice boxer's muscle. Here's the video. Pricelss if you are a yoga anatomy dork like me.
